Herman Oak Leather Company has been providing fine leathers since 1881. WTA has designed many industrial engineering projects for the St. Louis based tannery for over 20 years. Specific projects have included:

• Plant wide assessment of process flow and raw material storage space to optimize space in manufacturing area
• Automation of heat treatment and drying processes to save energy cost
• Replacement and upgrade of process equipment in finishing area
• New material conveying system in process area
• Civil, structural, and architectural design for new plant addition
