WTA provided project management and design services for the $50,000,000 renovation of the historic St. Louis Civil Courts Building. Throughout the project we worked with the City of St. Louis and the Judges to monitor program compliance and proposed value engineering alternatives. Our suggestions reduced the project cost by $20,000,000. The project included:

  • Owner representation services
  • Mechanical/electrical renovation of the courthouse
  • Relocation of the Jury assembly room (350 occupants) from the 8th floor to the 1st floor. This move substantially reduced life safety systems in the building.
  • Renovation of the law library which included complete replacement of mechanical/electrical systems, and design of fire protection and telecommunication services. All systems seamlessly integrate with the historic architecture.
  • Design of teleconference suite
