The Williams Companies constructed a new 750,000 sq.ft. operations center, a Network Command Center, and a 4,000 car garage on their 2,500,000 sq.ft. corporate campus. WTA provided design services for the new construction as well as a new 13,000 ton chiller and boiler plant to serve the complex. Project features include:

  • Design of audio/video/data cabling systems
  • Brine chillers (7,200 tons) provide primary cooling to the complex. During off-peak hours the chillers can charge an additional 32,000 ton hours of ice storage, which can provide up to 4,000 ton hours of additional cooling capacity.
  • Design which incorporates the ability to add 4,800 tons of centrifugal chillers in the future
  • On-site generation (four 820 kW gas-fueled engine generators) provides electrical power to limit the size of the incoming electrical service saving demand costs.
