The Daniel Boone Building / Columbia City Hall is located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. The building, originally built in 1917, was purchased by the City in 1972 and became an official government building. The City recognized the need for modernization and commissioned a complete renovation and expansion project.
WTA provided MEPF engineering design, information technology design, and LEED consulting / management for the project which included the complete interior renovation of the existing 60,000 sq.ft. city hall and a 60,000 sq.ft., five-story addition to house the new government center. The project was completed in three phases and was awarded a LEED Gold rating.
