The design of the new Perry County Multi-Purpose Center included a 17,000 sq.ft. auditorium, 10,000 sq.ft. theater, 7,000 sq.ft. library and the renovation of a 21,000 sq.ft. swimming pool. Project issues included:

• Total enclosure of existing pool for year round use
• Energy efficient heating and air conditioning systems
• Lighting systems for high school level competition
• Ventilation of fresh air preconditioned by an air-to-air heat recovery system incorporated into the unit working off of exhaust from the pool
